See you on the ship!

Corks 4 A Cause asks you to save the date to help us celebrate veterans on November 7th on the American Victory Ship in Tampa Port!

Proceeds will benefit Veterans Alternative and help to cover the costs of finding, training and providing for a service dog for a deserving veteran.

As always, we will have a variety of wines for you to taste and sample.

Also, don’t forget to bring some extra cash! We have some wonderful donations for the evening for our “Pick A Prize” from Bonefish Grill, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, and several gift baskets from CompassPointz, Shooters World, Rehbein and Associates, A financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial, and Clawson Accounting. An arm’s length of tickets will be sold for $20 or you can get one ticket for $5. There will be a ticket bag for each item and you select the bags to drop your tickets in. During the event, we will be drawing tickets for each item. You must be present to claim your item.

We’ll have music by Amber Lynn Nichol and delicious food from Tampa Street Café. Meet Brian Anderson, Brian’s service dog Hero, and Janel Norton founders of Veterans Alternative and learn about their plans for a service dog program.

Special note: please wear comfortable shoes as the stairs are quite narrow. We can’t wait to see you!

Brookwood in the Gardens

Come enjoy wine and the company of friends at a phenomenal location, while helping out a worthwhile organization.

Brookwood Florida provides a home for girls, diverted by abuse, neglect or family dysfunction, in which they learn to be self-sufficient and successful. With our unique four-part program the girls develop the skills, self-identity, and maturity needed to return to their families or live independently.
